Color Reference: Bathrooms

Last week I shared a sneak peek at yardage that will become our new bath and tabletop collections for Fall 2012.  Today, I thought to share my approach to designing with color.   We have a pretty tight budget for development and try to be as efficient when choosing and eventually editing the final collection.  We settled on the following color stories -- black & white, white & ecru, steel gray & flax, indigo, emerald, terra-cotta -- colors I consider exciting classics, highly versatile and compliment a wide range of interiors.  The other thing is the patterns -- their proportions and weight -- needed to work for both table and bath.  I think we got it right.
